Engjell Bebeti has been honored with the University of Hamburg’s Otto-Stern Award for his master thesis titled "Mid-Infrared Light Phase Detection with Integrated Nanoantenna Networks”, done at DESY in the Ultrafast Optics and X-Rays group under the supervision of Prof. Franz Kärtner and Felix Ritzkowsky.
His instrumental contributions involved working on electromagnetic simulations and optimising the nanoantenna networks. The results have been published in Optics Letters and Arxiv.
