Local contacts are on-call from 09:00 to 22:00 during the week days and from 08:00 to 20:00 during the weekends and holidays.
Policy
- Single shift requests are scheduled on the morning shift and double shift requests on the afternoon and night shifts.
- Beamtimes of less or more than one full shift, e.g. 4 h or 12 h may also be applied for; we recommend to book roughly 1 shift per full dewar, however, 112 samples can be measured in about 4 h.
- The beamtime has to be cancelled at latest 3 weeks in advance. This holds for proposal as well as for proprietary beamtime. Otherwise the shifts will be fully deduced from the number of available shifts and charged to the customer (in case of proprietary beamtime).
- The information about shift cancellations must be sent to the P11 beamline manager or local contact.
