Information on Corona Regulations - in brief

Test requirements for users coming to PETRA III / FLASH

Users have to present:

- proof of full vaccination/recovery is required for participation in beamtime. Accepted vaccines are listed here
- a negative PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 with the result being available before entering the DESY campus. Vaccination or recovery from Covid-19 will not release users from this obligation. The test result must not be older than 72 hrs.
The PCR test will be checked when you pick up the Hostel room key. Without a valid negative test result you will not get the key.

During you stay at DESY please perform a self-test at least every second day, but immediately when having symptoms. Sufficient test kits must be supplied by the user. If you have travelled by public transport (train, airplane), please do a first self-test already before proceeding to the beamline.

Allowed number of onsite participants

A maximum number of up to four persons are allowed for experiments at PETRA III. Exceptions from this rule are not possible. Do not send more persons than needed for the experiment.

Leader and PI of proposals with scheduled beamtimes will be informed via e-mail about changes of regulations.
