NFFA proposals
NFFA.eu allows researchers to tackle complex nanoscience challenges that cannot be provided by any single research infrastructure alone. Combined access to resources of internationally competitive academic and research centre laboratories and Analytical Large- Scale Facilities (ALSFs) is available, with new upgrades.
NFFA-Europe/NEP has SUCCESSFULLY completed its access call programme.
Those users in the pipeline of accepted proposals must complete their access by the end of 2026!
The unique offer of NFFA will definitely resume as soon as funding will be available again.
Lasers4EU proposals
Laser4EU offers unique research opportunities to scientists and industry from all over Europe and to a limited extent also to scientists from outside Europe. Access is provided
• to world-class laser research facilities,
• to a large variety of inter-disciplinary research, including life sciences,
• free of charge. Travel and accommodation expenses will be co-funded.
Access is provided on the basis of scientific excellence of the proposal, reviewed by an external and independent Selection Panel. Priority is given to new users. A typical access project has a duration of 2 to 4 weeks. Proposals for longer visits are highly exceptional.
We particularly welcome young scientists and those who have never used lasers in their research. Lasers4EU is committed to promoting gender equality in scientific research and particularly encourages applications from women.
