Experimental hutch 2 is equipped with a heavy-load horizontal Psi-diffractometer allowing for larger and heavier cryostats in the pi-incident geometry only. A 14 T split-coil cryomagnet allows it for high magnetic fields diffraction till 14 Tesla in a temperature range between 2.3 K up to 300 K using the variable temperature insert. A pulse tube cryostat operating between 4 and 300 K is available for high pressure single-crystal diffraction experiments using diamond anvil cells (DACs) where pressure till 30 GPa can be applied and monitored in situ.
