Langmuir GID setup
The Langmuir GID setup is a special instrument for fixed incident x-ray measurement on Langmuir monolayers at the air/water interface. It provides ultra-low background grazing incidence diffraction (GID), total reflection x-ray fluorescence (TRXRF) and grazing incidence off-specular scattering (GIXOS) - pseudo reflectivity measurements.
Liquid Interface Scattering Apparatus (LISA)
The Liquid Interface Scattering Apparatus (LISA) is designed for x-ray reflectivity (XRR) and x-ray diffraction studies on air/liquid and liquid/liquid interfaces.
The BMBF currently funded project 05K22FK3 LISA Dynamics, titled "Pump-Probe Platform for fast and ultrafast dynamics of liquid interfaces" from Kiel University will provide a "nanosecond laser" at beamline P08 PETRA III by the end of 2024.
