VIA provides various tools for multimodal measurements that complement the x-ray based techniques at PETRA III beamlines with additional analytical methods to study the chemical properties and behavior of the substances. Supplementary equipment is available for sample preparation. Our pool of instruments consists of mobile and stationary devices for application directly at the beamline (online measurements) and in the laboratory (offline measurements). VIA operates as a collaboration of beamlines and the chemistry laboratories and sample environment groups at PETRA III.
Available Instrumentation
The use of the equipment may be requested in conjunction with or independent of a beamtime at PETRA III. Please reach out to the indicated contact person for information on availability and support.
