FLASH was until August 3, 2025 in the second FLASH2020+ upgrade shutdown, where the FLASH1 branch was converted into an externally seeded FEL at high repetition rate. Presently the seeded FLASH1 is being commissioned and it will start with first 'community experiments' end of 2026/early 2027. At FLASH2 user operation resumed on November 3, 2025.
